What to Expect
  • Visit the brand new Deer Park enclosure at Bali Zoo
  • Encounter sun bears and tapirs after dark
  • Feast from a lavish buffet overlooking the Elephant Park
  • Watch a traditional dance show from Sumatra and a contemporary fire dance from Bali

Following pick-up from your hotel, make your way to Bali Zoo and pass through the new Deer Park to see resident species, including Javan rusa deer. Then, climb aboard a double decker bus and drive to the buffalo house.

Get up close to magnificent elephants and get the chance to feed them by hand. Interact with the gentle giants, rescued by the Elephant Conservation Center in Sumatra. Meet other amazing wildlife, such as Sumatran tigers, tapir and sun bears in a waterfall area.

Head to Gayo Restaurant for dinner at any time between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, and choose from a menu of soups, salads and grilled items from the buffet. Eat within meters of a herd of elephants adorned in colorful fabrics, accompanied by their mahouts in traditional costume.

Watch the fast-paced “Dance of a Thousand Hands” performed by the Gayo ethnic group of Sumatra, and be amazed by a 20-minute fire dance inspired by the epic Hindu poem, the Ramayana.
